FAQ Friday #57 - Do you have a replacement valve for my Compass dinghy?

When a customer sent us these photos of their broken Compass dinghy valve, I wasn't sure which valve (if any!) we stocked would fit.

The valve has similarities to others that we stock, but wasn't visually a perfect match for any of them.

This particular customer was local, so I said to pop down and see us and I'd happily try a few valves to see if one would screw into the perfectly intact housing/nut part of the valve that was still in the boat.

And the good news is, the Ceredi valve we stock fitted!

And here's a photo of the new valve fully installed and tightened, including being checked with soapy water to ensure there's no leaks from around the outside of the valve. No bubbles is a good sign!

And whilst it's not a perfect colour match, the Ceredi spare valve caps that we sell fit the old valve, so that's a win of this valve too:
